Bu dersin amacı, evcil hayvanlarda önemli Astigmatik acarlar, Sarcoptes, Psoroptes, Chorioptes, Otodectes, Notoedres ve Knemidocopteslerin morfolojileri, ayırıcı teşhisleri, evcil hayvanlarda uyuz, uyuz hastalığında teşhis, tedavi ve korunma yöntemlerini öğretmek.
