Okul Temelli Mesleki Gelişim dersi hem öğretmenlerin hem de okul yöneticilerinin, görev yaptıkları okullar bağlamında sürdürülebilir mesleki gelişimlerini, bunu sağlama ve izleme yollarını kuramsal ve uygulamalı olarak incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Mesleki gelişim olgusuna ve eğitim yönetimi kapsamındaki yerine bakış, çağdaş eğitim denetimi ve mesleki gelişim, yetişkin olarak müdür ve öğretmen, ulusal ve uluslararası mesleki gelişim uygulamaları, okul temelli mesleki gelişim, mesleki öğrenme toplukları, öğretim çemberleri, kitap inceleme grupları, ders inceleme gurupları, eleştirel arkadaş grupları, akran koçluğu ve mentorluk, eylem araştırması ve öğretmen portfolyosu, okul müdürünün mesleki gelişimdeki rolü.
