Bu dersin amacı öğrencilere algısal restorasyonda kullanılan farklı algısal restorasyon ölçekleri hakkında bilgi kazandırmak; yeşil alanların insanların ruh ve beden sağlığı üzerinde etkileri araştırılırken incelenen alanın özelliğine göre hangi ölçeğin kullanımının daha uygun olduğu hakkında bilgi vermek ve yapılacak bir araştırmada bu ölçeklerin nasıl kullanılması gerektiği hakkında öğrencilere bilgi ve beceri kazandırmaktır.

Bu derste içeriği algısal restorasyonda kullanılan Algısal Restorasyon Ölçeği (the Perceived Restorativeness Scale), Refah Ölçeği (the Well-Being Measures), Restoratif Bileşenler Ölçeği (the Restorative Components Scale), Algısal Restorasyon Potansiyeli (the Perceived Restorativeness Potential), Çocuklar için Algısal Restorasyon Bileşenler Ölçeği (the Perceived Restorative Components Scale for Children), Yapılı Çevre Restorasyon Destek Ölçeği (the Built Environment Restoration Support Scale), Aktiviteler için Algısal Restorasyon Ölçeği (the Perceived Restorativeness for Activities Scale), Algısal Restoratif Karakteristikler Anketi (the Perceived Restorative Characteristics Questionnaire), Restorasyon Çevre Ölçeği (the Restoration Environment Scale), Restoratif Durum Ölçeği (the Restorative State Scale), Algısal Restorasyon Ölçeği-Çocuklar (the Perceived Restorativeness Scale-children), Restorasyon Ölçeği (the Restoration Scale) ve Restorasyon Sonuç Ölçeği’ni (the Restoration Outcome Scale) kapsamaktadır.
