Amaç

Bu dersin amacı I. Dünya Savaşından Soğuk Savaş'ın bitimine kadar yaşanan siyasi gelişmeleri, günümüze kadar gelen tarihi süreci anlamak, değerlendirmek ve değişen dengeleri kavramaktır.

İki Savaş arası dönem, II. Dünya Savaşı'nın sebep ve sonuçları, Soğuk savaş dönemi, SSCB'nin yıkılışı ve Soğuk Savaş'ın bitişi.

1.Öğrenciler, siyasi tarih alanındaki temel olguları kavrayabilirler.
2.Öğrenciler, Birinci Dünya Savaşı’nın bitiminden Soğuk Savaş’ın sona ermesine kadar geçen dönemde dünya tarihine damgasını vuran tüm siyasi gelişmeleri öğrenebilir.
3.Öğrenciler, olayları sebep-sonuç ilişkisi içinde analiz edebilirler.
4.Öğrenciler, dersin tarihi zaman dilimi içindeki temel aktörlerin rollerini ve tutumlarını analiz edebilirler.
5.Öğrenciler güncel olayları tarihsel açıdan değerlendirebilirler.
